Head Tennis Pro - Ken Tronco
Ken Tronco is from Greeley, CO where he began his tennis career at the age of 9. He would play competitively as a junior in the USTA Intermountain Section consistently ranking in the top 50 in the six state region. He played tennis at Greeley Central High School and his top result in state was fourth place at #3 singles in his junior season.
Ken discovered his passion for teaching the game soon after high school as he coached for various high school programs in Northern Colorado. He would graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a business degree and moved to Denver to begin his tennis teaching career. Ken has been teaching at various clubs and city programs for over ten years. He would help run the junior tennis program at Eastmoor from 2011-2015 and returned in 2018 in a full time role.
Ken has learned many life lessons from the sport of tennis and his primary goal is to pass on his knowledge and love for the sport. Whether you are an adult beginner or a junior that has aspirations of competing at a higher level;

ASSISTANT TENNIS PRO - ERIK WEST
Erik is from Lenexa, KS where he was introduced to tennis at the young age of 7 years old by his father. He started teaching tennis at the age of 14. He played his freshman year of college at Middle Tennessee State University where the team was conference champions and Erik was conference champion at #2 doubles. At Hampton University, he was two time conference champion and finished one season undefeated with a record of 25-0 in singles. As a team, they finished second in NCAA Division II National Championship. He was an All-American while at Hampton as well. Erik spent a few years teaching and playing on the professional tennis circuit, and finished his education at Methodist University where he got his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Tennis Management. Erik has over 30 year of tennis teaching and playing experience. He is USPTA, USPTR, and USTA certified. In his free time, Erik enjoys watching Kansas City Chiefs football and University of Kansas basketball as well as watching processional tennis and listening to 80’s and 90’s music. Erik really enjoys teaching others the great sport of tennis, it is an enriching experience, and he loves to share his knowledge and expertise with others.
TENNIS PRO - NATE CLARKE
Coach Nate is excited to join such an awesome and talented staff at Eastmoor!
Nate is a local native of Colorado. He first started playing tennis at age of 10, teaching himself against a summer camp backboard. Nate developed and worked hard on his game as a junior even overcoming obstacles such as JRA. He ranked #13 at the competitive tournament level. He went on to play High school #3 doubles at Regis and #1 doubles at Eaglecrest. After two trips to the State tournament in high school, Nate went on to play D2 College tennis at Mesa State College. His highest rank was 4th on the traveling team. His best performance was winning the tiebreaker match against Colorado College in a 3rd set barn burner!
Nate has taught lessons on and off for 20 years. He has worked as a pro at CACI and coached the high school teams of Regis and Legend. Nate develops all levels of tennis players with primary focus on 2.5-4.5 (beginners intermediate to advanced). Nate loves working with juniors and has a great way of connecting with children. He focuses on full stroke development, strategy, consistency, footwork, fitness and FUN! Coach Nate is available for private, and group lessons. Tennis instructor and email wizard - Molly tronco
Molly started playing tennis at 8 or 9 years old for Ken Caryl Ranch. She played regularly through high school, where she played varsity #1 doubles for Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado. She went to State her sophomore, junior and senior years. In college, Molly switched her focus from athletics to language and travel. She lived in Guatemala, Spain, and Australia earning her degrees in International Business and Spanish Literature. Outside teaching tennis, Molly is a Spanish teacher at the Montessori School of Denver, where she teaches toddlers through 2nd grade. Tennis is a favorite pass time for Molly. She enjoys playing on the Eastmoor Women's 3.5 team and loves getting to know, teach and play with all the junior players at Eastmoor.
EMILY ORLOVE-COLLEGIATE PLAYER AND TENNIS INSTRUCTOR
Emily is from Wheaton IL, a suburb outside of Chicago. She started her tennis career at age 7 and is now playing at the college level at a school in St Louis. Emily participated in JTT and USTA as a junior in the Chicago section for many years. She won the state doubles title her junior year and finished top 10 in singles her senior year in on of the most competitive states for tennis! She also won the all conference award in her college conference in 2022. Emily has been teaching tennis for 4 years and is loving continuing that at Eastmoor. Emily loves working with juniors or any age to help develop their game, she focuses on stroke technique, point planning and strategy. Feel free to reach out!
